Andrea Runge, Instructor
Andrea Runge is a professional actor and teacher based in Toronto. She first met and studied with David Rotenberg at Pennsylvania State University, and then went on to study at The Professional Actors Lab.
Theatre credits include four seasons at the Stratford Festival - selected roles: Rosalind in As You Like It, Viola in Twelfth Night, Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Minnie Fay in The Matchmaker. She has also worked at the Tarragon Theatre, Canadian Stage, the Segal Centre, Theatre Aquarius, the Vancouver Playhouse, Globe Theatre, Thousand Island's Playhouse, Lighthouse Festival Theatre, and Pennsylvania Centre Stage.
Some film and television credits include Designated Survivor, Orphan Black, Murdoch Mysteries, Lizzie Borden Took an Axe, Spliced, and Corner Gas.
She has a Master of Fine Arts from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Regina. She is an acting instructor for various film and theatre schools across Toronto and the GTA, and has taught courses and workshops at several universities in Canada and the US.
